AQUATIC CENTER PROGRAMS
Registration will open for Avondale residents at 8 am on the first Thursday of the month for the following month’s programs and the 2nd Thursday for non-residents. Residents will receive a 20% discount on courses at checkout. For more class details and registration, please visit

Summer classes begin in June and are offered as 2-week sessions Monday – Thursday or 4-day sessions on Saturdays. *There are no programs on June 19; regular public swim hours are still in effect.
SWIM LESSONS
Fee $30/session (8x, 30-min classes or 4x, 45-min classes) Dive into a world of aquatic excellence with our comprehensive swim lesson program, catering to all ages and ability levels. Embark on a water adventure that combines skill-building, safety, and a whole lot of fun. Whether your little one is taking their first dip, you are honing in on competitive strokes, or learning vital water safety skills, our program is designed to ensure a fun and supportive environment for skill mastery.
Each course is comprised of 5 levels: White Star, Red Star, Yellow Star, Blue Star, and Green Star. To better group participants based on similar skill-levels while continuing ease of registration, swim lesson instructors will sort participants into their respective level within the course on the first day of class. Evaluations will be completed throughout the course and participants will gradually work their way through the star levels.

STARBABIES SWIM LESSONS (AGES 6 MO – 4) Join our Parent-Child Swim Lessons that are specially crafted for your little stars! Our certified instructors use creative activities, songs, and games to introduce water comfort and basic swimming skills. Let's make a splash and build water confidence together! StarBabies program offerings available through July.
YOUTH SWIM LESSONS (AGES 3 – 14) Unlock the world of aquatic wonders with our Youth Swim Lessons! Participants will dive into breath control, body position, and the development of beginner strokes. They will graduate from floating to a 50-yard swim without stopping. Ready for more of a challenge? Our instructors will start teaching participants the competitive and resting strokes, or you can consider joining the swim team! Entry Requirement: Student must be able to follow instructions of the instructor.
ADULT SWIM LESSONS (AGES 15+) Fee $30/session (8x, 30-min classes or 4x, 45-min classes) Enhance your water skills and boost your confidence with Adult Swim Lessons this summer! Participants will learn how to navigate through different body positions, breath control, treading, and movement through the water.
