TUITION FREEZE CONTINUES


The Midlands Technical College Commission voted to freeze tuition costs for the 2021-2022 academic cycle. This decision makes the second consecutive year that the college has frozen tuition in the best interest of students during these difficult times.


“The pandemic shook South Carolina’s workforce in historic ways,” said MTC Commission Chair Margaret Holmes. “We feel it is necessary to do everything we can from an affordability and accessibility standpoint so that as many people as possible can receive the career-based learning necessary for a prosperous livelihood.”


MTC HAS MORE COURSE DELIVERY OPTIONS THAN EVER BEFORE.


Courses are offered four different ways so students can create schedules that fit their needs and comfort levels.


ON-CAMPUS


Traditional. Classes meet on campus.


VIRTUAL


100% online. Meets with live instructor on specific days, at specific times. Uses web conferencing software, like Zoom.


HYBRID


Some classes on campus. Some classes virtual.


ONLINE


100% online. Due dates for projects and assignments. Work on your time, 24/7.
