CNA PROGRAM EXPANSION AT MTC

The BlueCross BlueShield Foundation has invested $33,000 to expand MTC’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program by retrofitting a classroom at the Northeast Campus. The program’s addition to the Northeast Campus increases MTC’s overall CNA training capacity by nearly 50%. With the new location, approximately 100 additional health care students each year can complete training and enter the local workforce.


The new training room will provide the potential for day, evening, and weekend CNA classes as well as additional health care training, helping students earn the stacked credentials of Phlebotomy, Cardiac Care Tech, and EKG Specialist, leading to a Certificate as a Patient Care Technician.
