1) The tip or blade of the tongue is placed very close to the centre of your gum ridge (without touching it). It’s the same place we make a /t/, /d/, or /l/.
2) The sides of your tongue are making a seal against the side teeth.
3) There is a narrow groove running down the centre of your tongue.
4) Breathe out and you should feel the air vibrate between your tongue and the gum ridge.
