SPORTING GUNS & AMMUNITION
Even though firearms are strictly forbidden to be carried on board the aircraft there are certain exceptions, for example sporting guns and ammunition.
The Pilot in Command must be informed by the Operator regarding quantity and weight and their location. The sporting weapons and ammunitions must be stowed separately preferably in the hold.
On aircraft which have accessible baggage compartment from the cabin, care must be taken to ensure that sporting guns and ammunition are in separate areas, e.g. guns in the baggage compartment and ammunition on the flight deck.
