Greater Lancashire Hospital has appointed Sara Derbyshire as its new chief operating officer. Sara brings extensive clinical and board-level expertise to the new role which has been created in response to the purpose-built Preston hospital’s continued growth.

Marsden Building Society has appointed Jo Cave as its new head of mortgages. She joins the Nelson headquartered society from Barclays, where she worked in various roles within its mortgage operations department more than 20 years.


Preston based planning consultancy PWA Planning has expanded its senior leadership team with the promotion of Louise Leyland to director. Louise joined in 2016 as a senior planner, before being promoted to associate in 2017, and has played a key role in delivering planning advice across the energy and housing sectors.


Blackpool aerospace business Airframe Designs has expanded its senior team as it continues its growth journey. Phillip le Mottee has been appointed from Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group as the head of structures while Tom Baynes takes up the role of deputy head of design. Martin Stones has been appointed design team leader and Paul Burrow has been recruited as senior designer and checker.

the sector and has been with Bamber Bridge based Eric Wright since 2000, holding the role of operations director since 2016.
