SUB36 MEET THE ‘NOW GENERATION’
Lancashire Business View has put the spotlight on the county’s up and coming young business talent – the future leaders already delivering results for organisations across the county.
Sub36 is our ongoing campaign to showcase the county’s young business talent. As part of that commitment, in this issue we are focusing on the young men and women, all aged under 36, displaying leadership qualities – ‘The Now Generation’.
These are people who are determined to make their voice heard, committed to making a difference, focused on improvement and displaying the qualities our future leaders will need in an uncertain world.

From the nominations we’ve received from across Lancashire and from all sectors, we’ve chosen, with the aid of our specially invited panel, a list we believe represents the very
best of the county’s up and coming talent – the ones to watch.
We publish them here, in no particular order, to celebrate their work and the contribution they are making and will make in the future.
Richard Slater, chairman of Lancashire Business View, says: “With the help of our readers we are able to showcase some of the inspirational
and talented young people already making impressive contributions to our economy.
“This feature puts the spotlight on those shaping Lancashire’s future – young professionals already leading teams, driving projects and delivering results.
“Over the years we have recognised up-and- coming talent and watched it flourish.”

Through magazine features and networking events we celebrate their hard work and ambition, as well as the workplaces that are empowering the next generation.
We have held three special Sub36 events so far this year, with 40 people attending each.
Pictured above is the tour of Atkinsons Coffee Roasters in Lancaster that took place in February, where guests learned about the origins of its beans and how they’re crafted into different strengths of coffee.
Our Sub36 networkers took part in a coffee tasting session, discovering the special techniques used, followed by a hands-on latte art workshop.
Olivia McCaughran, client engagement manager and Sub36 organiser, says: “The purpose of the events is to provide a platform for young professionals to connect, share their perspectives, and be heard.
“We have created an environment where individuals can confidently network, exchange ideas and discuss both achievements and challenges, while building new connections and strengthening existing relationships.
“If you or one of your work colleagues are under the age of 36, get in touch and join us.”
