agprecision.ltd About us

Established in 1989, A&G Precision and Sons is a family run business producing high precision machined components for the aerospace and defence sectors. Our advanced capabilities and continuous investment in the latest technology have enabled us to become a key partner to multiple OEM’s on the biggest programmes in the country.

Our achievements

With more than 35 years in the aerospace and defence sectors, we have built a reputation for consistently high performance. We were the first – and remain one of only two – machining companies in the UK to achieve the SC21 Gold accreditation, which we have held for seven consecutive years. Our commitment extends beyond engineering excellence; we invest in people and community. To date, we have created 35 apprenticeships and maintain close partnerships with local schools to inspire future generations of engineers.

What it would mean to win

Winning this award would mean a lot to everyone at A&G. It would show how much hard work our team puts in every day and highlight the important part each person plays in our success and the strengths we possess as a business.

About us

Ainsworth Jewellers is Lancashire’s oldest independent jewellery house. A heritage retailer offering fine jewellery, bespoke design, expert valuations and repairs, alongside our Inspired Bridal boutique and ear-piercing studio. Serving multigenerational customers across Blackburn and an ever-expanding catchment (Ribble Valley, Cheshire and beyond), we specialise in distinctive design, rare gemstones and unforgettable experiences.

Our achievements

Since 2021, Ainsworth Jewellers has entered a scale-up phase, delivering 38 per cent year-on-year growth. Strategic showroom investment has transformed the customer experience, introducing private consultation suites, heritage displays and an expanded bridal boutique. We’ve also opened a London office to support national growth. As the sole UK stockist of PureJewels’ Lotus and Rosettes Collection, alongside increased investment in rare gemstones, we’ve strengthened both our brand positioning and commercial performance.

What it would mean to win

Winning would be an incredible honour. While we’re fiercely proud of our heritage, this recognition would celebrate how we’ve evolved, growing financially, creatively and alongside our customers as we continue building a modern family business with national ambition.
