Lancashire employers are being urged to invest in the next generation and grow their own talent.
The rallying call comes as figures show the number of 16-18-year-olds starting apprenticeships in the county has fallen by more than 40 per cent.
Businesses are being encouraged to play an active role in developing the county’s future workforce by taking on young workers as apprentices.
