Homebuilder Redrow is set to expand its Worden Gardens development in Leyland after acquiring land to deliver its final two phases.


The acquisition means it can bring forward plans to build another 150 homes, bringing the total on the project to 390.


Redrow began work at Worden Gardens,


located on Leyland Lane, in 2019, and has since sold 208 homes across the first three phases.


An area to the north of the wider development will be transferred to Worden Estates as an extension to Worden Park.
