startissueuk.co.uk About us

Established in 2003, we are one of the UK’s leading independent manufacturers of hygiene paper products. We manufacture private label products for major suppliers and distributors in the professional hygiene, washroom, commercial cleaning, catering, hospitality and health markets in the UK and Ireland. Our products include toilet rolls, centrefeed rolls, jumbo rolls, dispenser rolls, couch rolls, wiping rolls and paper hand towels.

Our achievements

In the past few years we have made significant investments in the business. We have now have a world-class production facility capable of manufacturing 1,720 rolls a minute, and handle up to 50 pallets an hour. We have also invested in five-star facilities for staff so the environment they work in is safe and good for their wellbeing. When most of our market closed down due to lockdowns we diversified into the consumer market, helping us maintain our turnover. We are expecting to grow by 40 per cent this year.

Why we’re looking forward to the Red Rose Awards

I’m looking forward to meeting all the exceptional nominees and maybe taking an award or two back to the incredible staff at Star Tissue.
