pdsengineering.co.uk About us

PDS is a world record breaking engineering group based in Nelson. We specialise in designing and engineering precision parts for blue chip clients working in sectors including aerospace and energy generation and providing solutions for commercial applications. We are perhaps best known for our work on Thrust SuperSonicCar, which, at 763mph, is the world’s fastest ever car, and rebuilding Donald Campbell’s Bluebird boat.

Our achievements

Over the last two years, we have expanded by developing a range of our own products in new industries such as healthcare and leisure while supporting our existing clients. We’ve gone above and beyond for our local community and the local manufacturing base by embracing collaboration. Despite challenges we’ve faced as individuals, and commercially we’ve embodied the Lancashire ‘can-do’ spirit and built a stronger business. Whether we win or not, I know that we have excelled and achieved more than we could have hoped for as a business and a team.

Why we’re looking forward to the Red Rose Awards

The Red Rose Awards are always a fantastic night. We’re looking forward to being back and celebrating with Lancashire’s finest.
