freedomhp.co.uk About us

Freedom Heat Pumps was founded to fulfil a need in the UK market for sound, knowledgeable technical support. We pride ourselves on supplying the right heat pump product for the individual project, delivered at the right time, backed up with the right training and the right technical support.

Our achievements

We are one of the largest distributors of heat pumps in the UK, the sole distributor of the Midea brand and the only distributor offering technical support from the start of the customer project to the on-site installation. All the above has enabled us to react and grow, trebling turnover and employee numbers over the past year. However, we remain focussed on maintaining our small business mentality: the team spirit and the personalised customer interaction, that have been key to our performance and development and therefore will remain key to the future success.

Why we’re looking forward to the Red Rose Awards

Being a finalist has given our team the public recognition they deserve. It’s going to be an exciting night and we are looking forward to meeting the other finalists and their teams. Good luck to all!

About us

GA is a family-owned and run private label pet food manufacturer, creating recipes using the finest raw materials sourced from farms and fisheries that we know and trust. Our partners are traditional pet shops and pet food brands that use these recipes with great success in the market.

Our achievements

GA Pet food Partners started in 1992 with five colleagues and has grown to more than 800 employees with a turnover of £137m. We have ambitious plans to generate all our own renewable energy and feel it’s vital to work with local neighbours to build a sustainable business. We swim against the short-termism tide prevalent in the pet sector to provide sustainable solutions for small pet shops throughout Europe. We act local but think global.

Why we’re looking forward to the Red Rose Awards

We are looking forward to an evening that celebrates local businesses and their contribution to the success of Lancashire and beyond. It is also a great opportunity to celebrate with a few members of our team who all work tremendously hard to deliver success for both GA and our valued partners.

jamesplaces.com About us

James’ Places is an eclectic collection of hospitality businesses based in the Ribble Valley, Lune Valley and one outpost in the Yorkshire Dales. We operate 11 individual businesses, including inns, hotels, bars, restaurants, and retail shops, each with their own unique ambience and personality yet all sharing the family DNA.

Our achievements

Over the course of the past 25 years, James’ Places has grown from a single venue, The Emporium in Clitheroe, to a business with 11 sites and nearly 450 employees. Despite what we have been through with the pandemic, the last 12 months have been all about pushing ahead and continuing to grow the business to see what it can really achieve. Our staff are at the heart of everything we do and we’re fortunate to have some fantastic people working for our business that bring the James’ Places personality to life.

Why we’re looking forward to the Red Rose Awards

It’s such an achievement to be nominated for the awards so we’re looking forward to celebrating on the night with all our fellow finalists.
