Preston headquartered Panthera Biopartners, which runs commercial clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry, has appointed Mark Egerton as chairman. He brings extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry across the UK and the US.
Blackpool-based energy consultancy Trident has expanded its sales team by recruiting four new members. They include business development managers Nigel Addison-Evans and Luka Ord-Johnson and are joined by graduate recruits Millie Hugo and Shay Duffy.

Harrison Drury has bolstered its corporate legal team with the appointment of Andrew Clare as partner, pictured left with its head Mark Traynor. Andrew, who will be based primarily at the firm’s Preston office, brings more than three decades of experience to the team, having held senior roles at law firms including Simmons and Simmons, TLT, DAC Beachcroft and Napthens.
Jodie Hargreaves has been appointed Accrington Stanley’s new commercial manager. She has a strong background in operations and commercial management, bringing with her a wealth of experience gained from projects around the world, including work at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Fortidia UK has appointed Paul Leach as sales director, with responsibility for driving revenue performance across the group’s UK network for Mail Boxes Etc, Pack and Send, and World Options. Based at the company’s Accrington head office, he joins from Landmark Global, where he served as UK sales director following 14 years with FedEx in a range of senior sales leadership roles.
Property developer Breck has appointed Philip Dolan as managing director of the North West division of its affordable homes arm, based in Bamber Bridge. He joins from Anwyl Homes, where he spent nine years in senior positions including North West managing director and, most recently, chief operating officer, overseeing a team of 250 staff.
James Scott is the new managing director of Maple Grove Developments taking over the role from Karen Hirst. James joined the group as a director of the Maple Grove business in 2021 and has been involved in bringing forward a number of high-profile schemes.
Blackpool based Airframe Designs has promoted Chris Fleet to a newly created operations director role as part of its plans to expand its specialist engineering and manufacturing services to the global aviation, defence and space sectors.
Peter Heskine is the new commercial manager at Kirkham headquartered Warden Construction. He has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry and joins from Pinington where he worked as commercial director for seven years.
Blackpool Net Zero Business Academy has announced the appointment of John Keen as its newest sustainability consultant. Bringing extensive experience to the role, he will be helping Blackpool businesses cut costs and improve energy efficiency.
Richard Whiteside has joined Altius Group as contact centre director. He brings more than 12 years of leadership experience from Capita, where he most recently held the position of head of sales. He will focus on enhancing client engagement and developing team performance.
Commercial litigation specialist Eleanor Longworth has been promoted to director at Lancashire law firm Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall (WHN). Katie Wright, who is head of WHN’s civil litigation team, has also been promoted to senior associate solicitor and head of the firm’s Clitheroe office.
Hampton by Hilton Blackburn has welcomed Tom Chesterton as the hotel’s new sales manager. Tom is a seasoned hospitality professional with a career spanning luxury hotel, international brands, and Premier League hospitality.
