Our smash-hit in 2025 was the successful merger of Beever and Struthers with Menzies LLP. It brought together two established firms to create a stronger national platform while remaining proudly independent and partner-led. The merger deepened our sector expertise, particularly in not-for-profit, education and social housing while preserving the culture and client relationships that define how we work.

East Lancashire Learning Group (ELLG) is proud to be rooted in the communities we serve. We support young people, adults, apprentices and university learners to build skills, confidence and careers.

Our standout moment in 2025 was celebrating our 20th consecutive Ofsted Outstanding recognition – a milestone no other FE college has achieved.
It reflects years of care, consistency and high expectations from our staff, learners and partners, and it matters because it proves that world-class education and life-changing opportunities are available right here in East Lancashire.

Smokefree Lancashire offers free tailored advice and support to anyone who wants to stop smoking or vaping on a one-to-one basis in person across Lancashire or through our Telehealth offer over the phone. For large workplaces we offer an in person drop-in service which has proven really popular in busy work environments. You are three times more likely to quit smoking with our expert support.
What do you like about doing business in Lancashire?
Lancashire is the community that we’re privileged to exclusively serve, everything we do revolves around Lancashire and its diverse communities. We love getting to meet and support people from all walks of life with our person-centred approach; they teach us something new everyday, and the money they save goes back into the community.
What was your greatest success or ‘smash hit’ in 2025?
Our Telehealth offer has been a real success story. We’ve had a great response from people who were previously unable to access the service due to work commitments, travel or mobility issues who can now not only access our service during the day but during evening sessions too. The feedback has been brilliant.

Our greatest success in 2025 was helping a local business cut energy costs by up to 65 per cent through a fully bespoke system. We consulted, designed, installed, and now manage and service the system annually. Seeing the impact first hand from our end- to-end delivery, both financially and environmentally, was a proud moment that reflects the heart of what Vital Synergy stands for – engineering excellence.
