DOMOTEX NEWS 10

Bostik has reinforced its range of fl ooring products with the acquisition of Ideal Work. This project is in line with the company’s targeted growth strategy in adhesives, based on technologies which perfectly complete Bostik’s existing off ering for the construction market. Founded in 1997, the Italian company with annual sales of around €10 million employs 25 people. Over the years, it has developed an expertise and a unique approach in the fast-growing sector of high- end decorative fl ooring solutions, thanks in particular, to its micro-cement technology. Ideal Work’s solutions,

which complement existing ranges in the fi eld of fl oor preparation and fl ooring adhesives, will allow Bostik to expand its off ering and position itself in a niche market in fl ooring renovation and decoration. Ideal Work will also be able to benefi t from Bostik’s

commercial network to accelerate its development and expertise globally. This bolt-on acquisition is perfectly in line with Bostik’s growth strategy in the construction market and, in particular, the fl ooring solutions sector. It is also consistent with the Group’s and Bostik’s CSR ambition.

DALTILE INITIATIVE TO HELP COLOURS MEET THEIR MATCH

DOLLKEN MAKES THE CUT - AGAIN

Döllken Profi les has brought a new, fl exible version of its well tried-and- tested strip cutter to the market, specifi cally designed for luxury vinyl tiles. The German company’s original model, which could easily cut 51 mm- wide strips from designer fl ooring, was widely regard as exceptionally practical and user friendly. But the recently launched update goes even further, expanding the overall cutting area to 40 to 140 millimetres. | doellken-weimar.de

Daltile is making it easier to fi nd the right product with ColorMatch, a special order, custom colour, glazed ceramic wall tile program, something marketing director Amber Leigh Martinson, describes as providing “complete design freedom”. She explains: “The consumer or designer simply provides Daltile with a swatch of fabric, piece of wallpaper, lamp, offi cial school colours or a favorite Pantone colour number, for example. Our expert tile lab will then custom create a free 3 x 6 sample tile in about one to two weeks. In addition to the wide variety of existing solid colors that Daltile off ers in wall tile, the brand now off ers more colors than customers could ever imagine, making any design come to life.”
