furnituresuperstore.ie Missing parts and poor quality product Dear Customer Service
I am writing to you to express my anger and frustration regarding an item of furniture that I purchased online from your store. The product in question was a four-drawer pine chest of drawers which appeared beautiful in the online picture gallery. The product code is 939456239502. The item was purchased on 25 April by credit card.
I purchased the chest of drawers for my daughter who was excited for its arrival. However, we were alarmed and dismayed by (a) the quality of the product and (b) the amount of missing parts. It did not say on the product description that the unit would have to be put together. When we laid out all the parts and inspected them, the following were nowhere to be found: three planks of wood, a bag of screws, four bolts, two drawer knobs and one side panel. I’m sure you would agree that this is simply unacceptable. Not only this, but the timber was light and flimsy and had some marks and cracks in it. I thought your company produced furniture of a high standard, but now I am no longer convinced.
I am not a bit satisfied with the standard of the product and I would like a full refund. I expect that the funds will be back in my account without delay. Also, I do not wish to pay for the postage and packaging to return the product to you so if you would like it back then can you please forward on the required fee. I trust that all is in order and look forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely Catherine Lynch
