artmouth is a vibrant, year-round destination and part of what makes it such an attractive place to visit is you, our incredible local community. The passion, dedication, and collaborative effort of our town’s amazing volunteers and
businesses means that Dartmouth has an annual calendar of events which punches above our size. From the spectacular shoreside celebrations of the Royal Regatta to the sensory delights of the Food Festival, the soulful notes of the Music Festival, and the magic of Dartmouth in December, there is always something amazing to experience in Dartmouth.
From a tourism perspective these amazing Festivals and Spectacles give people a reason to think about Dartmouth as a place to visit. They build a following, they appeal to particular groups, and they help create a positive noise about Dartmouth. So we wanted to take the time to highlight

These festivals and spectacles are only possible because volun- teers and businesses from across Dartmouth come together to make them happen. To do this consistently, year in year out, and deliver such a high level of experiences across the year is testa- ment to the commitment across our fantastic community. We like to think it is the Naval art of ‘mustering’ that seeps through this beautiful town.
