Welcome to the 2026 Dartmouth Food Festival
T
he town will soon be buzzing again as the Food Festival bursts into its 22nd year. We are thrilled to welcome you for a weekend packed with a fantastic mix of tastings, talks, and irresistible products from over 100 stallholders. Across the town, there’s an abundance of things to see and experience, all coming together to make your Festival visit truly memorable.
We are super excited as this year brings a fiery new highlight, our Food & Fire Quarter on the South Embankment. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be treated to lively cooking demonstrations on various types of barbecues brimming with smoky tricks, sizzling foodie magic, and plenty of banter with well-known chefs. You can wander over, soak up the aromas, and get inspired to try more outdoor cooking at home.
We are also delighted to welcome The Groundup Cookery School from Crediton for the first time, who are running our Workshops. They are an award-winning, family-owned cookery school, specialising in foraging, fermentation and world cuisines. Expect an eclectic programme of hands-
on fun at these sessions.
Dartmouth is celebrated not only for its beautiful river and Naval College but also for its remarkable community — a community shaped by countless unsung heroes who give their time and energy so generously. We are deeply grateful to our incredible Core Group and Directors who help organise the festival during the year and to those who step forward to support us specifically during the Festival weekend.
And none of this would happen without our amazing Sponsors, Business Associates, and Festival Friends who play an essential role in shaping the Festival into what it is today. We are delighted that Rockfish continues as our headline sponsor; their generosity and enthusiasm bring something genuinely special to the Festival. We express our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the Festival in any way.

It goes without saying that the two of us are absolutely thrilled to be part of this much-loved Festival. We can’t wait to get our hoodies back on, hang up the bunting, polish the glasses, fire up the grills, and savour the mouth-watering aromas drifting from the array of stalls and street-food vendors.
