Judges pinpointed strong innovation, including NDC integration and strategy, and consistently high levels of adoption.

Rising Star of the Year DIDZIS NEIMANIS
Didzis is head concierge at Amba Hotel Charing Cross, the stunning Grade II-listed London hotel. Previously, he was head concierge at The Grange Hotel. One of the youngest concierges in the UK at the age of 29, Didzis manages a team of seven. He also lectures at Uxbridge College in hospitality.
Didzis Neimanis, it was felt, was an integral part of the travel industry chain and showed passion and enthusiasm that really impressed the judges.

Kerrie Henshaw-Cox joined biopharma- ceutical company AstraZeneca in 2011 and for the past three years has been global category lead. Kerrie has accountability for business travel, including strategy, sourc- ing, supplier relationships and operations, the travel policy and duty-of-care.
The scope of Kerrie’s achievements meant she was the runaway winner. Truly outstanding, said the judges.

This team has successfully undertaken a global project that pulls together every aspect of the WTW organisation to deliver a globally standardised travel programme. Success required senior stakeholder man- agement and agreement across multiple companies on a global basis; the first such agreement in WTW’s post-merger history.
The team’s successful globalisation of a large account across 52 markets was a major achievement. A genuine team effort on both sides. The judges’ decision was unanimous.
