leading architects, and, of course, a central contribution from the IHEEM Technical Platforms and Advisory Panels. Conference passes are excellent value, and come with a range of benefits in addition to exclusive access to the conference content. “The IHEEM Members’ Lounge, located
next to the main stage, will once again be a key resource for members and non- members alike. Representatives from our IHEEM Technical and Advisory Platforms, and from some of our local branches, will be on hand to engage directly with members interested in getting involved with any of these bodies. Doing so is a great way to both further your career and give something back to the industry, so if you have been considering it, I encourage you to come and find out more. The IHEEM Head Office team will be available to discuss the work of the Institute, and answer any questions about membership. If you are considering joining IHEEM, drop in to the Lounge to find out about the types of membership on offer, and the many benefits of being a member. All existing members are welcome to visit the lounge to take some refreshment and enjoy an informal space to take a break from the busy event. “The exhibition is set to be bigger and better than ever,” added Pete Sellars, “with
many new participant companies bringing even more breadth and depth of solutions to what is already the UK’s largest showcase of products, equipment, and services, for the sector. The huge effort made by our exhibitors helps to create an environment that is both informative and welcoming, something IHEEM is proud to recognise via the presenting of awards for ‘Best Stand’ during the closing ceremony. “It’s very important to take time out
from your day-to-day role occasionally, to renew your focus, refresh your understanding, and recharge your motivation. I look forward to welcoming you all to Manchester for another enjoyable, informative, and invigorating edition of Healthcare Estates.”
