Innovation on tap
Armitage Shanks will show the latest additions to the Markwik 21+ range – its new thermostatic sequential healthcare shower panel, and ‘innovative’ sequential non-thermostatic Pressure Balanced Valve (PBV) mixer tap. The new shower panel will be
available in two heights, 1500 and 1700 mm, making it ideal for multiple NHS applications based on a common room height of 2400 mm, while also meeting Department of Health and Social Care HBN guidelines. Meanwhile, the Markwik 21+ SQ PBV
mixer offers ‘a safe water delivery system with the prospects of lower maintenance costs as an alternative to thermostatic mixing valve products, for the hospital and healthcare environment, in line with the requirements in updated UK HTM 04- 01 guidance’.

HEJ: keeping IHEEM members up to date
Health Estate Journal is the official monthly publication for the members of IHEEM (the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management), and is
manager, said: “Both of our new products have been designed to be as convenient as possible for installers and healthcare professionals, while still maintaining patient safety. The thermostatic shower panel comes as a single, pre-plumbed, TMV3-approved unit for easy installation and maintenance access, while our new PBV mixer tap can quickly, easily, and cost-effectively replace existing Markwik 21 or Markwik 21+ thermostatic mixer tap installations.”
