‘Frank discussions’ on some of the day’s biggest issues
HEJ looks forward to what’s in store at Healthcare Estates 2024 – IHEEM’s flagship annual event, and the UK’s largest get-together for healthcare engineering and estates management professionals. Thousands of healthcare engineering and estates and facilities professionals will come together in Manchester on 8-9 October this year for the two-day conference, exhibition, and awards dinner.
Event opening times
Taking place at the Manchester Central convention complex in the heart of the city, and this year organised around the theme of ‘Embracing the Challenges’, the Healthcare Estates conference and exhibition provides learning, engagement, and networking opportunities for professionals of all levels in every estates and facilities role. The multi-stream, CPD- certified conference provides high-value learning opportunities across five key topic themes, while the exhibition hall gives access to hundreds of leading suppliers, as well as the programme of Keynote addresses and six theatres of free technical seminars. Awards Dinner, meanwhile, takes place on the evening of 8 October at the nearby Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, with prestigious awards set to be presented in 12 categories, recognising outstanding individuals, teams, projects, and products, in the healthcare sector. IHEEM CEO, Pete Sellars, said: “At this critical time for the National Health Service, it’s more important than ever that professionals of all levels can get the latest information on, and have open and frank discussions about, the key issues.
