Mentoring Pocket Guide
The Institute has launched its first Mentoring Pocket Guide to assist mentors and mentees in their professional development. The pocket guide explains what mentoring is, the benefits of engaging in a mentor-mentee relationship, and how to get involved in the IHEEM Mentor Scheme. Additionally, it gives details on how the MyIHEEM Mentor Platform provides members with a confidential record- keeping facility to log mentoring meetings and review progress made throughout the agreement. Training for mentors is CPD certified, and is provided free for members by IHEEM. To find out how to get involved as a mentor or mentee, please contact:

Recently Accredited
Scott Johnston, who has recently been accredited as an AE, said: “From my first day as a MGPS project engineer, I pushed to learn, and was given the opportunity to be mentored in different ways by the leading MGPS AEs, APs and CPs, never more so than by Alistair McNicol of Algas
Group. Medical gas pipeline systems are my passion, with my knowledge and expertise learned from within the body of the industry and every day being a learning day. IHEEM has provided me with a wealth of CPD information and assistance, helping me develop and attain accreditations.”
