Procedure: To make Part A, combine all gums and glycerin to form a paste, add water with stirring. Homogenise 10,000 rpm for 1 min/100g to make a gel and then add preservatives and Arlacel LC and heat to 80°C. Once at 80°C homogenise 10,000 rpm for 1 min/100g. Transfer to a water bath and heat at 80°C for 30 minutes. Heat part B to 80°C and add to Part A with stirring. Add Part C when below 40°C. Adjust pH to 5.0-5.5 with 10% Citric Acid. Properties: Appearance: Off White Thick Cream pH: 5.10 ± 0.5; Viscosity: 50200cP ± 10% (Brookfield DV2T, Spindle 6, 10rpm, 1 min); Stability: 3 months at 4, 25, 40, 45, and 1 month at 50°C and 7 x -10 °C/+40 °C 24 hour freeze-thaw cycle
