Procedure: Slowly add the VEEGUM® R to the water while mixing at maximum available shear. Mix as the water temperature is raised to 80°C, until fully hydrated. Add the glycerin and maintain the Phase A temperature at 80°C. Combine Phase B ingredients and heat to 80°C with stirring. Add Phase B to Phase A with adequate mixing. Cool to 35°C while mixing and add Phase C. Continue to cool with mixing and pour off at 30°C.

Procedure: Slowly add the VEEGUM® HS to the water agitated at maximum available shear. Mix until fully hydrated. Then, add the rest of the Phase A ingredients and mix in. Under slow speed/low shear mixing, slowly add Phase B, C & D and mix in thoroughly. If necessary, adjust pH to 6.0 ± 0.5 with citric acid.
