SPORTS BETTING BETITRIGHT

More accessible, less

complicated. BetitRight’s in-play evolution

Last year, C&N Sporting Risk launched BetitRight, the go-to

source for analytical sports betting content. BetitRight leverages data outputs from predictive modelling to help consumers make better informed betting decisions.

Evolving out of C&N Risk’s predictive modelling outputs for betting syndicates, BetitRight’s in- play bet prompt service is their headline product as part of a joint venture with Spotlight Sports Group. Te product combines the company’s predictive models, with a live event feed and bookmaker price feeds to create relevant, engaging and value based in-play bet prompts.

Our modelling outputs utilise raw on-field data. We have a joint venture with a on-field

data collector, InStat, whereby we consume their data and

apply it to the models our data scientists have built in

conjunction with myself and my business partner. Off the back of that, it synchronises a lot of those modelling outputs with price feeds in different markets.

Described as the company’s ‘gaming arm’, the BetitRight in-play product is live with Betfred and is set to launch with ComeOn imminently. Henry Newman, Co-Founder of Sporting Risk, sits down with G3 to discuss the next evolution of the product, the utilisation of increasingly granular data to drive innovation, and whether in-play betting in its current guise has had its day in the sun.

What is the relationship between Sporting Risk and BetitRight?

Sporting Risk is a company my business partner and I founded on the back of utilising the outputs from predictive models to provide pricing for bookmakers and betting syndicates. Initially we were working with a team of data scientists and after growth in the first three years we decided to formalise under a company structure. We saw opportunities to commercialise the data outputs we were generating across a number of fields - pricing services into syndicates, bookmakers, underwriters who needed to price expect the performance of teams and financial institutions lending money to football clubs.

Another area we saw growth was in utilising the

outputs of our modelling on a betting front. BetitRight evolved out of us building a range of product and content offerings that uses the outputs of our modelling to generate the most engaging content possible. As a minimum this is to enhance the user experience, but in an optimal manner aggregates information to enable users to bet better.

How does BetitRight help users bet better?

Our modelling outputs utilise raw on-field data. We have a joint venture with a on-field data collector, InStat, whereby we consume their data and apply it to the models our data scientists have built in conjunction with myself and my business partner. Off the back of that, it synchronises a lot of those modelling outputs with price feeds in different markets.

Tis synchronisation considers the prices being offered in markets such as both teams to score, corners, cards, handicaps, with the level of strength of the output from our modelling outputs to generate an automated bet prompt. Tis is delivered in an automated sentence handwritten by our content team to make a bet recommendation.

How successful has the product proven since launch? What operator partnerships have been signed up so far?

We have had a range of partnerships signed up. Betfred have been live for over twelve months, ComeOn in Sweden have signed up for a year and are set to go live in July. We did have a contract with MansionBet before their change in
