ROAD TRIP SNACK


2 cups toasted rice cereal squares 2 cups toasted wheat cereal squares 2 cups pretzels (any shape) 2 cups Cheddar crackers 1 cup soup and oyster crackers


½ cup nuts like peanuts or cashews 5 tbsp unsalted butter, sliced 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce ¼ cup store- bought BBQ rub

STEP 1 Preheat oven to 250°F. To a large baking sheet, add the cereal squares, pretzels, Cheddar crackers, oyster crackers, and nuts. Toss gently to mix. STEP 2 To a small microwave-safe bowl, add the butter. Cover with vented plastic and microwave 30 sec.–1 min., until butter is fully melted. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, BBQ rub, and salt. STEP 3 Pour butter mixture over snack mix on baking sheet, stirring to coat. Spread mixture onto baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 45 min., stirring every 15 min., until snack mix is evenly toasted. Let cool on baking sheet 10–15 min. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
