St. Paul, MN — Microprecision has introduced a new product for mechanical position detection. The new MP600 series of mechanical sen- sors is designed to detect two posi- tions with a single device. The dis- tance between the two positions can be customized to the user’s applica- tion between 0.01 to 0.06 in. (0.3 and 1.5 mm). The fixed NC and NO con- tacts activate with no measurable hysteresis. Repeatability is better than 0.2 mil (5 µm), and depending on cable selection, the operational temperature can go from –40 to +266°F (–40 up to +130°C). The cable termination can be supplied with an M12 connector. This patented switching mecha-

nism is designed for low-voltage applications up to 30 VDC. It is self contained and can be inserted in

LUTZE Intros Unshielded Cat6 Ethernet Cable

Charlotte, NC — LUTZE is expand- ing its industrial Ethernet cable offering by introducing an unshield- ed Ethernet cable for light industrial duty, the CAT6 UTP 4X2XAWG23 with PVC jacket. The cable is intend- ed for use in low-noise industrial environments where the effort of installing a shielded cable does not offer any benefit to the application.

multiple forms and shapes of hous- ings. The IP67-rated standard hous- ing sizes are M8 and M12 with a pin or ball plunger.

cations in the automation, process control and OEM industries that require two switches for position con-

trol. The MP600 series eliminates the time-consuming adjustments from hysteresis caused by other sen- sors or snap-action switches. This is typically the case for brake applica- tions with air gap and wear control, or high- and low-limit control in process applications. Due to its size and precision, the MP600 can also be used for home position detection in any application with x/y/z move- ments.

PVC-jacketed unshielded Ethernet cable.

The cable has a teal jacket and is

UL-listed type CMR, CMX outdoor and UL-recognized per AWM 21695 600V. It presents an economical solu- tion for industrial environments where commercial grade Ethernet cable does not suffice. The PVC jacket is designed to last in industrial envi- ronments as it is oil-, abrasion- and sunlight-resistant, allowing one cable for applications inside and outside the plant. The cable is suitable for cable tray installation, per NEC 800, and 600V rated for installation on machines and inside control panels. Due to its center spline design,

the Cat6 UTP offers electrical per- formance that exceeds category 6 requirements. Solid copper conduc- tors support easy termination with

IDC technology. Contact: LUTZE, Inc., 13330
