Mycronic Renews Partnership with Aegis for FactoryLogix
Rowley, MA — Mycronic will include Aegis Software’s FactoryLogix NPI as the main programming interface for its MY700 jet printer and jet dis- penser. The customized software, branded FactoryLogix Express, will also have the capability to prepare data for Mycronic’s range of pick- and-place machines, through an op- tional TPSys output interface. “The MY700 is a fast jet dis-

Headquarters Elgin, IL — HELUKABEL® USA has broken ground for its new U.S. head- quarters. The eight acre property is located in the Chicago suburb of West Dundee. The initial structure will be a 75,000 ft2 (6,968m2) facility, with 7,000 ft2 (650m2) allotted for office space and the rest for warehousing the company’s cabling products and accessories. The site will allow the company to expand up to 200,000 ft2 (18,581m2) as it grows in the future. HELUKABEL USA was found-
ed in 2007 and has expanded rapidly. “This is the second physical expan- sion over the last 10 years. The com- pany started out in a 13,000 ft2 (1,208m2) facility and moved into a 43,000 ft2 (3,995m2) five years ago,” says Markus Dannheim, president of HELUKABEL USA. “It was impor- tant to find a property in close prox- imity to our current location, in order to maintain our existing employee base. Our employees and the relation- ships they have created with cus- tomers around the world are a funda- mental key factor for the continued success of our company.” It was also important for the company to have immediate interstate access, mini- mizing lead times for customers. Schleuniger to Acquire adaptronic Prüftechnik GmbH
Manchester, NH — Schleuniger Group has signed an agreement to acquire 60 percent of adaptronic Prüftechnik GmbH, based in Wertheim, Germany. The transaction is expected to be concluded early this year. A manufacturer of wiring test systems and functional test systems, adaptronic has around 140 employees. By acquiring adaptronic, Schleuniger is
adding customized solutions for testing cable har- nesses, connectors and assemblies for aviation, railway technology, automotive, automation, and industrial technology to its existing service range. adaptronic Prüftechnik creates application-
specific test systems and adapter solutions for wire harnesses, which it supplies to customers in a wide range of markets. Its product portfolio comprises

wiring test systems, adapters, test tables, and test consoles for high- and low-voltage applications, all backed by software. The company generates a significant portion
