Konig Launches 3D Digital Conformal Coating
System SUZHOU, CHINA — KONIG has launched its KP400 3D digital packaging solution, a break- through conformal coating system that brings new levels of preci- sion, speed, and material efficien- cy to electronics manufacturing. KONIG specializes in both
low pressure injection molding so- lutions and 3D digital packaging protection solutions, working alongside customers to build high- quality, high-reliability electronic products. The KP400 is KONIG’s latest innovation in digital confor- mal coating — offering a fully au- tomated, image-based application process designed to protect com- plex assemblies such as PCBA, FPC, and mini-LEDs. Unlike traditional spray or
molding processes, the KP400 uses advanced 3D printing tech- nology to apply protective coat- ings with picoliter-level droplet control. Equipped with over 1,000 independently controlled nozzles, the system deposits coating with up to 400 dpi resolu- tion and layer precision as fine as 15 micrometers. The KP400 is optimized for solvent-free, UV- curable materials that offer ex- cellent thermal resistance, di- electric strength, and mechani-
cal durability. Contact: KONIG, No 33
