CHINO, CA — Scienscope is introducing its newly redesigned X-Scope 3000 X-ray inspection system at SMTAI 2022. It will be shown along with an incoming material system with a top and handheld scanner and the AXC- 800 III component counter. The Scienscope smart storage

rack offers an easy and accurate way to store components. It can be integrated with a component counter or incoming reel labeling machine. This provides accurate inventory with a unique ID num- ber and each reel location is stored for quick retrieval. Scienscope's smart storage rack automatically detects when each reel is placed and removed. Multicolor LEDs make simultaneous multi-kitting possible. Customization is avail- able to fit specific needs. MES integration is accessible through a Scienscope counter or a label scan- ner computer. The award-winning IMS-100

incoming material station has a high-resolution barcode camera system with an image-based algo- rithm that reads any barcode, even with defects. It reads and stores the information of four 7 in. (178 mm) reels simultaneously. As

BTU Highlights Solder Reflow

Flux Control NORTH BILLERICA, MA — BTU International is highlight- ing its Aqua Scrub™ flux man- agement technology at SMTA International 2022. BTU's next- generation solder reflow flux management

system, Aqua

Scrub, is designed to decrease operational cost by four times, compared with traditional con- densation systems. The patent- pending design uses an aqueous- based scrubber technology com- patible with most known paste and flux types. The Aqua Scrub is purpose-

built as a standalone system that can be easily retrofitted on PYRA- MAX™ reflow ovens already in the field as well as being configured on new PYRAMAX ovens. This self- contained unit mounts on the back side of the oven to minimize the impact on oven operation and fac- tory floor space. In addition to a very attrac-

tive cost of ownership, Aqua Scrub reduces downtime, labor and dis- posal costs. The flux and solution are automatically contained and

packaged for disposal. Contact: BTU International,

one reel is removed, a unique iden- tification number label is printed, archiving reliable data that can be easily and conveniently traced. The IMS-100T, the newest

version of the Reel Smart Lite, fea- tures a top and handheld scanner. The system allows for EMS/ERP integration in seconds. It captures multi-codes quickly and without errors, enabling seamless integra- tion of any material. Scienscope's AXC-800 III is

the third generation of the X-ray component counter. By utilizing the state-of-the-art X-ray technolo- gy and AI, the AXC-800 III cap-

tures the images of the compo- nents inside the reels and uses AI to count the quantities. The AXC- 800 III is capable of counting down to 01005s with an accuracy of 99.9 percent in less than two seconds per reel. The patented Scienscope optical barcode scanner deciphers

the barcodes simultaneously. Contact: Scienscope
