The company has announced a new formula- tion within its Bergquist microTIM mTIM 1000 series micro-thermal interface coating portfolio. The award-winning materials offer significant reductions in functional heat ex- perienced by optical transceivers, with the latest development addressing the thermal challenges of 400, 600 and 800 Gb pluggable optical modules (POMs). High-capacity POMs can produce as
much as 30 watts of power in operation, gen- erating performance-diminishing heat. Cur- rent approaches to thermal control involve conventional metal-to-metal in- terfaces (transceiver to riding heatsink) and the use of adhesive- applied phase change materials. Henkel’s coating materials

These easy-to-use Con- tact Image Sensors (CIS) combine sensors, lenses, and lights all-in- one, offering a lower cost inspec- tion system for many demanding machine vision applications. AxCIS is powered by Tele-
dyne’s new quad linear CMOS image sensors, which deliver up to 120 kHz line rates for mono, 60 kHz x 3 for color, at 900 dpi reso- lution, so that defects can be de- tected with unprecedented preci- sion. Its unique staggered sensor design covers the whole field of view without missing pixels, pro- viding a 100% seamless image without any interpolation. HDR imaging can be achieved using a dual exposure mode, which en- ables better detectability for high- ly reflective materials with im- proved dynamic range. Initially available in widths
of 16 to 31 in. (400 to 800 mm), in increments of 4 in. (100 mm), AxCIS can fit anywhere in a sys- tem, even with limited vertical clearance. Its Camera Link HS SFP+ fiberoptic interface deliv- ers high resolution images over standard low-cost, long-length cable with high reliability of data
