The MAS-i4 is the latest generation selective soldering machine with the highest flexibility and output. The system features an XY servo table for two independent fluxer nozzles (fluxer 1 and fluxer 2). The distance between the fluxers is automatically adjusted by servo motors, as programmed by the software.
Customers can choose to use only one fluxer for all boards so it can accommodate two flux types in one machine, or they can choose to use two fluxers with the same flux. For preheat- ing, the MAS-i4 is equipped with a top convection preheating zone and bottom IR preheating zone. The top preheating zone

SANTA ROSA, CA — SCHUR - TER announces its new FMAB NEO single-phase EMC filter for Protection Class II applications. The Class II version meets the more stringent require ments for critical medical systems and at- home medical care devices accord- ing to IEC 60601-1-11 & 12.

The filters are hi-pot tested
with 4 kVAC between L or N against the metal housing for a dielectric strength greater than 5.6 kVDC, according to the requirements of IEC 60601-1. Leakage current ratings less than 5 µA are available. Other applications for the
FMAB NEO include use in devices for industrial equipment, laboratories, telecom apparatus, audio/video, and office equip- ment.
