CLIFTON, NJ — Omni Pro Electronics has announced its release of the new 4- and 8-Bit Monolithic Programmable Delay Lines from Data Delay Devices. These digi- tally programmable lines are used in medical imag- ing, industrial, aero space and other timing-critical applications. Omni Pro offers the 8-bit lines with step sizes ranging from 50 ps through 20 ns, and a quad 4-bit line with step sizes from 1 ns through 400 ns. These devices use all-silicon, CMOS technol- ogy and are vapor-phase, IR and wave solderable. Temperature stability is typically ±1.5% from –40 to +185°F (–40 to +85°C). The 4-bit 3D3424 and


3D7424 devices have four inde- pendent programmable lines on one chip and have a low quies- cent current (5 mA typical). They also both have delay tolerance of 3% or 2 ns, line-to-line matching of 1% or 1 ns typical and a mini- mum input pulse width of 10% of total delay. The 3D3424 is available in


steps sizes of 1 ns through 300 ns and has a Vdd stability of ±0.5% typical (3.0V to 3.6V), while the 3D7424 step size range is 0.75 ns

The one and two channel cards offer a stunning combination of ultrafast 10 GS/s sampling speed, with 12-bit vertical reso- lution, and market-leading 12.8 GB/s data streaming (over the PCIe bus). To achieve the streaming


rate, they use 16 lane, Gen3, PCIe technology. This allows the acquired data to be sent directly to PC memory for storage, or to CPUs and GPUs for customized signal processing and analysis. The cards also feature front-end circuitry with over 3 GHz band- width and up to 16 GB (8 GSamples) of on-board memory.
