YZEN is a global leader in providing environmentally responsible, RoHS-compli-
lems through the convergence of science and uncompromising care. To accomplish this, it has assembled a team that under- stands that people are just as im- portant as technology. A key member of the KYZEN team is Sherry Stepp, Global Marketing Manager.
Joining KYZEN Sherry officially joined the
team in January 1997 but was familiar with the company long before then. She was KYZEN’s travel agent and had a great working relationship with the
executive team, planning their business travel. “The company was fairly small at the time, and everyone was so awesome that I practically begged to be a part of it,” Stepp says. A position was created for her, and the rest is history. Over the past 26 years,
Stepp has worked hard, develop- ing and growing her role as well as her contributions to the com- pany. Her original position was sales/marketing assistant, and she realized there was much to learn.
Like most things in her life,
Stepp took on the challenge and succeeded greatly. The more she learned, the more she was able to do and, ultimately, the more re- sponsibility she received. Over the years she has held numerous positions including customer service, inside sales and product manager before being promoted to her current position more than 10 years ago. Stepp says, “Each role has
helped me grow professionally and in my knowledge of the in- dustry. The KYZEN leadership team has always been supportive and encouraging — they like to see people succeed and as the president of the company always says ‘have fun’ doing it.” Today, Stepp’s main role is to

back to the industry as well as the community. As a well-round- ed team member, Stepp has par- ticipated in numerous initiatives over the years with local-area schools, including presentations and career days at high schools and mentoring interns. Addition- ally, she is the company liaison for Project Pencil in Nashville and has helped with KYZEN’s Angel Tree program, which helps community members in need. Outside of KYZEN, she has coached youth sports teams,
worked with several community cleanup projects, and served on various committees and commu- nity response teams through her church.

face Mount Technology Associa- tion (SMTA) for many years. She has served — and continues to serve — on many committees at the national level including the Women’s Leadership Program as well as Exhibitor, MarCom, Membership and Ambassador committees. She was elected as the president of the local Huntsville SMTA Chapter and currently serves as VP of mem- bership.
Additionally, Stepp was in-
strumental in the 2020 founding of the Manufacturing Cleaning Association (MCA) that concen- trates on cleaning in manufac- turing. KYZEN was a founding member, and she was the found- ing president, leading the execu- tive board of directors. She com- pleted her term at the end of 2022 and continues as a member of the Board of Directors, helping to grow the association. She’s also proud of the team
that she has helped build, an amazing staff of marketing pro- fessionals that rise to whatever challenge is before them. For these reasons — and many more — Stepp sees herself staying
with KYZEN for the long term. Contact: KYZEN, 430 Hard-
