Contacts for Elbow and Straight PCB Sockets

Rohnert Park, CA — LEMO’s new harpoon grounding pins are designed to enable the easy pre-installation of various receptacles and sockets. The main advantage of these new press-fit contacts is the reduction of time during pre-assembly, eliminat- ing the need to place the washers and screws of M16 contacts. The connector is

simply aligned and firm- ly pressed. This pre- assembly will enable the assembly house or final customer to turn the PCB upside down and run the parts through a reflow soldering oven. This solution is also planned to be incorporated into the 0B and 1B series of elbow

and straight PCB sockets. The cur- rent design works specifically with boards 0.06 in. (1.6 mm) in thickness.

SONOTEC Develops Clamp-On Flow Meter

See at SEMICON West (Virtual)

Islandia, NY — Semiconductor manu- facturing requires a number of liquid flow processes in which various abrasive, adherent, corrosive, and ultra-pure liquids are applied. It is critical that these processes remain safe, stable and high-quality. SONOTEC® has released its SEMIFLOW flow meters, specifically designed to meet the de mands of the semi- conductor industry. SEMIFLOW flow sensors

are industry-proven, cutting- edge meters that combine a robust design with an innovative clamp-on system to eliminate any risk of contamination and leakage without the hassle of system down- times.

Due to their compact housing

with onboard electronics and analy- sis unit, the flow meters are as small as a single transducer. This makes them easy to integrate into existing process chains and architectures.
