Enclosures for Single-Sized MIXO Modules from Mencom
Oakwood, GA — Mencom has launched its MIXO ONE series of aluminum housings, designed to accept a wide range of single-sized MIXO series modules. These robust rectangular connector enclosures are available in three hood versions and one bulkhead mounting base. The numerous combinations of MIXO ONE
housings and single-sized MIXO inserts easily allow each module to be converted into a fully inde- pendent connector for electrical power, data trans- mission, optical signals, or compressed air applica- tions.
MIXO ONE series housings are designed to
install the single-sized modules in one guided way so that incorrect matches are avoided. The hous- ings incorporate a pre-leading (first-make, last- break) PE connection terminal and contact for the safest connector oper- ation.
The pins protruding from the
bulkhead mounting housing function as a key guide in cooperation with the corresponding keyway sockets in the hoods to avoid incorrect 180° reversed mating with a matching connector. Four optional coding pins are available, which can generate up to 16 different coding combinations as a provision against mismatching when identical connectors are installed side by side.
Murata Introduces 008004 MLCC for Wearables
Smyrna, GA — Murata has released its GRM011R60J104M, an MLCC with a maximum capacitance of 0.1 µF in a 008004 (0201 metric) pack- age. The design offers a capacitance tolerance of ±20 percent, operating temperature range of –67 to +185°F (–55 to +85°C) and a rated voltage of 6.3 VDC.

GRM011R60J104M MLCC. By using proprietary ceramic
and electrode material atomization and homogenization technology, Murata has achieved a mounting surface area approximately half the size and a volume approximately 80 percent smaller than conventional products in a 01005 (0402 metric) package. The GRM011R60J104M has
nearly 10 times the capacity of simi- larly sized products. The MLCC is well-suited for engineers looking to further miniaturize their designs, while also adding greater functional- ity in applications that include mobile devices, smartphones and
wearables. Contact: Murata Electronics

Aluminum enclosures for single-sized MIXO series modules.
Hoods are split into two parts (front and rear)
to mount a single-sized MIXO module and simply the enclosure’s PE connection. Four self-threading screws and self-retaining sealing gaskets are sup- plied for the hoods. A bulkhead mounting base with rigid stainless steel locking lever is supplied with the module locking frame and self-retaining flange gasket. Shock-proof and self-extinguishing thermoplastic (UL94V-2) protection covers are available for hoods and bases suitable for outdoor
environments. Contact: Mencom Corp., 5750 Mcever Road,
