SETTING NEW STANDARDS IN

CARPET CARE Endorsed and recommended by some of Europe’s leading carpet manufacturers, the N.Cap carpet cleaning system can help save costs, maintain the lifetime of carpets, and help to protect them from bacterial infection, medical spillage, and heavy footfall.

Howard O’Brien, MD Traffik UK Ltd, explained: “In the current economic climate when budgets across the whole of the Healthcare sector are under scrutiny, the need for a comfortable, safe environment is crucial.

“Carpets are a floorcovering must for these types of establishments giving

bedrooms, social areas and entrances a welcoming, homely feel and providing a comfortable environment – they are therefore an expensive asset which needs to be and can be maintained and cleaned effectively to ensure longevity and their appearance.

“All carpet manufacturers produce products that can be ‘cleaned’ using a wide range of machines and chemicals as well as options such as dry extraction or water-based systems. However, this presents its own set of problems because, with such a wide range of machines and system options, it is difficult to maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness that ensures the look, condition and longevity of the carpet in line with the manufacturers’ expectations – no different from hard floors.

This announcement follows a public disagreement in November, which saw RAI Amsterdam revealing a parting of the ways, while ISSA initially denied the reports.

As part of the restructure, ISSA will rebrand its family of shows as ISSA Shows, for example with the 29

The system brings together four advanced carpet cleaning systems in one. N.Cap utilises the efficacy of both encapsulation carpet cleaning technology and ECA water systems to offer a comprehensive clean with either chemical or chemical-free options – a proven system that carries the endorsement of Europe’s leading carpet manufacturers.

The Amsterdam event, which takes place 15-18 May 2018, will remain part of the RAI portfolio alongside the Istanbul event, and both will be renamed INTERCLEAN.

Neither ISSA nor INTERCLEAN trade show calendars will change as a result of this agreement. RAI and ISSA say that they look forward to a productive future, supporting each other’s events.
