YORKSHIRE CLEANING FABRICS EXPANDS


WITH FARRAR Yorkshire Cleaning Fabrics Limited (YCF) has announced the incorporation of Farrar Brothers Brushes (including The Halifax Mop Company), which took place on 1 December 2017.


Piers Greenwood, Sales Director of YCF, said: “We have had a reciprocal business relationship between our two companies for over 40 years and when one of the partners of Farrar Brothers decided it was time to retire we jumped at the chance to expand our offer to include brushware and the many other items in the Farrar Bros range.


SOFHT AWARD FOR CHRISTEYNS FOOD


HYGIENE The Green’R range from Christeyns Food Hygiene has received recognition at the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) Awards in London.


The eco-friendly, pre-dosed range of concentrated surface cleaning products won the SOFHT ‘Best Product’ category at the awards, which were held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in London.


“Farrar Brothers brushes and the Farbro brand are already well respected in the industrial hardware and agricultural sectors, which will give us a good foundation on which to build.”


The Farrar staff, including the remaining management team, have transferred to the YCF site in Halifax, just two miles away from the Farrar building.


YCF will be taking some time to incorporate the Farrar range of floor brushes, dustpan sets, snow shovels and more into their offer.

INCENTIVE PICKS A WINNER WITH


CAMELOT Incentive FM Consultancy has won a contract with licensed National Lottery operator Camelot to deliver an intensive consultancy project.


Under the terms of the contract, Incentive will review the organisation’s FM operation and make recommendations for any future structural and operational service delivery changes, enabling Camelot to become more efficient as it strives to build on the £30m a week it already raises for National Lottery Good Cause projects across the UK.


This SOFHT award recognises a product that displays innovation, efficacy and offers a real benefit to its industry sector. Voting for the awards is undertaken by a group of food hygiene and industry specialists.


The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology is an independent consortium of food industry specialists set up to keep members advised of the current hygiene and technology issues through providing technical support, training and topical information as well as a vital forum for networking and sharing best practice across the entire food chain.

Incentive has appointed a dedicated Head of Facilities Management for Camelot, to oversee the company’s day-to-day FM operations and work with other members of the Incentive executive team. Alicia Moult, previously Interim Head of Facilities at McCann and Group Facilities Manager at Wonga, was picked for this position, having only joined Incentive recently.


Moult’s responsibilities at Camelot’s head office in Watford will include overall maintenance, cleaning, security, M&E, reception, print room, and office services at six Camelot properties across the UK.
