Wisconsin State Music Conference

Meetings, Dinners & Receptions

The Wisconsin State Music Conference is a great place to meet up with friends and colleagues. A variety of meetings, dinners and receptions will be part of the conference schedule. Watch for details to come at wmeamusic.org/conference.

President’s Welcome Reception – Wednesday, 7–10 p.m. This year’s conference will kick off a little differently. On Wednesday evening, WMEA will host a new event: the President’s Welcome Reception. The event will be a fun social gathering to celebrate being back together again at the Monona Terrace. There will be live music (in the style of a piano bar), and food and beverage available. This will be a time for conference attendees to gather on site, catch up with colleagues, share some laughs, and enjoy a social night together. The reception will also feature special guest Karen Salvador (NAfME North Central Division president), and include presentation of the 2021 WMEA Awards (previously presented on Thursday morning).
