WSMA Fall Campaign – Celebrating 90 Years
Wisconsin Foundation for School Music (WFSM) would like to thank our donors for their generous support during the past school year. It has made a difference in our ability to sustain through a most complex time.
As we gear up for our WFSM Fall Cam- paign, the needs for both Wisconsin School Music Association and Wisconsin Music Educators Association are signifi- cant as we continue to weather an unprec- edented pandemic storm. For the past year, both WSMA and WMEA were not able to run our programs in person, and there are still areas of the state at press time that
can not participate with in-person wind music playing indoors. Our hope is that in the coming months we will begin to see a full return to in-person music making and opportunities statewide.
In this, WSMA’s 90th year of operation, we
will be asking all who have been impacted by the work of WSMA and WMEA over the past 90 years to consider a donation to our associations to build a next chapter of donor support that will ensure the work can continue for many years to come. Bricks As it is WSMA’s 90th anniversary this
year, we will be working to place 90 or more bricks that recognize our incredible Wisconsin music educators. In honor of a Wisconsin music educator who has inspired, transformed, or has impacted the lives of students in your area, please consider purchasing a commemorative brick at the Wisconsin Center for Music Education. Our patio, new in 2019, has plenty of space for bricks with your special acknowledgement.
