WWEM 47 Blackline Safety – WWEM Stand V7

Blackline Safety has been shortlisted in the 2022 SaaS Awards in three categories—Best SaaS Product for Health & Safety or Risk Management, Best SaaS Innovation in the IoT, and Best SaaS Product for Business Intelligence or Analytics.

Now in its seventh year of celebrating software innovation, this international programme looks at hundreds of companies worldwide, which were evaluated by an international panel of judges.

“SaaS technologies are now part of successful business DNA and continue to evolve,” said James Williams, Head of Operations for the SaaS Awards.

“The shortlisted candidates announced today have proven to be truly innovative thinkers in the SaaS industry, whether they’re freshly-funded disruptors or established names.”

Blackline Safety’s SaaS-enabled, cloud-based wearables for personal and area gas monitoring put reliable data at managers’ fi ngertips so they can gain a better understanding of safety situations facing employees in real-time. The technology features GPS- enabled safety sensors that leverage the IoT, providing valuable data analytics and connecting workers to live 24-7 command centre monitoring. Blackline Safety will be exhibiting their connected safety solutions at WWEM 2022.

One of the major challenges for the industry is maintaining high water quality. The Type 8905 online analysis system offers automated water quality monitoring for a wide range of applications. This multi- channel, modular system regularly tests a range of parameters including pH, chlorine, conductivity, ORP, turbidity and temperature, with the latest module enabling monitoring of iron levels accurate to 0.03 ppm by volume. This ground-breaking device greatly improves the reliability of data and reduces the time and effort required to collect it.

Bürkert is also an expert in process automation and will have two versions of its pneumatic valve islands on display. One of the major advantages to these valve islands is the LCD display for each control circuit, which provides real-time feedback on the status of the process, which simplifi es commissioning and maintenance.

Chelsea Technologies Ltd – WWEM Stand Q7

Chelsea Technologies Ltd return to WWEM this year at stand Q7 where visitors can meet the Chelsea team who will be available to discuss Chelsea’s range of robust high-performance sensors widely used in the environmental monitoring and water utility sectors. Visitors will learn how Chelsea’s clients use both individual sensors and complete systems to measure algae, bacteria, and hydrocarbons. These sensors provide benefi ts within both environmental monitoring systems and water process plant monitoring (potable and waste) in areas such as fi lter monitoring and management, disinfection by-product formation potential, coagulation control, bacteria and organic loading, taste and odour, hydrocarbon contamination of water sources and effi cacy of bacterial removal systems.

Chelsea offers complete monitoring solutions which include data loggers/transmitters in small portable systems and stationary systems designed for installation within processing plants or in the fi eld. Chelsea’s sensors are low-power and offer a wide range of data connectivity options.

Cooper Environmental is a global leader in near real-time metals measurement technology. The company was the fi rst to develop and commercialise the near real-time measurement of metals using X-ray fl uorescence (XRF). Its Xact 625i ambient metals monitor has demonstrated accuracy in numerous studies and peer reviewed articles and is used throughout the world by environmental agencies, university researchers and industrial clients. Stop by their booth and learn about how the Xact may be used to help identify sources of metal and particulate matter pollution. Also stop by and learn about the Xact 920 – a near real-time metals analyser for water based on the same rugged XRF technology as the Xact 625i.

58618pr@reply-direct.com Coming from CHEMetrics® this autumn: new test kits for

monochloramine and nitrite utilising the N-(1-naphthyl) ethylenediamine (NED) chemistry. They join the company’s long list of testing solutions for water and wastewater treaters.

CHEMetrics offers two methods for measuring ammonia levels in water, with ranges covering 0.5 ppm to 10,000 ppm. The Nessler reagent (mercury containing) provides test results in two minutes or less. The HBA reagent (hydroxybenzyl alcohol), meanwhile, is mercury-free and provides test results in six minutes or less with both visual and instrumental kit confi gurations.

For testing chemical oxygen demand (COD), CHEMetrics offers USEPA-accepted and mercury-free kits that deliver savings of 43% over competitor prices. CHEMetrics COD vials can be used with all spectrophotometers that accept 16 mm diameter round bottom cells. Use directly with Hach factory-programmed instrument calibrations—no need to modify procedures.

BEKA associates – WWEM Stand P1

BEKA associates have introduced Pageant, a new intrinsically safe combined operator panel and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with plug-in input and output modules allowing direct connection to hazardous area sensors.

Pageant simplifi es the design, reduces panel space requirements and the cost of providing operator displays and controls in hazardous areas. It has Ex?ia intrinsic safety protection with IECEx, ATEX and UKCA certifi cation allowing installation in all gas and dust Zones. Multiple variables can be displayed simultaneously on the 7-inch backlit trans-refl ective display which is readable in all lighting conditions. Operator inputs can be made via eight touch switches with tricolour LED backlights, or via external push buttons.

The PLC employs industry standard CODESYS® runtime software which complies with IEC?61131 and has a lifetime licence. CODESYS runtime is installed in more than 1,500 different products worldwide, is supported by extensive documentation and will already be familiar to many users.
