Gas Detection 15
Figaro’s highly accurate, low power NDIR CO2
sensor module CDM7162
Teledyne GMI increases gas detection capabilities with introduction of improved GT-Fire
Firefi ghters Can Now Isolate Leaks with Greater Accuracy We are pleased to introduce the improved GT-Fire, an innovative, hand-held solution designed for the fi re industry to help isolate gas leaks quicker and easier than before.
After normal evacuation procedures are complete, the GT-Fire portable gas detector enables fi refi ghters to conduct more specifi c leak detection investigations while they wait for gas utility companies to arrive. With this, fi refi ghters have additional information to secure a scene more effectively.
With increased sensitivity and fl exible probe, fi refi ghters have enhanced capabilities within a single instrument, meaning they can react faster and with more knowledge. The large backlit display provides meaningful and accurate data, giving them confi dence and assurance at the scene.
GT-Fire is equipped with technology to read both fl ammable (PPM & LEL) gases, oxygen (O2 (CO) and hydrogen sulfi de (H2
Features: Small size, Low power, High accuracy, Single light source, Dual wavelength system
Applications: Indoor air quality control, Fresh air ventilators, Air conditioners, Automatic fans and window openers
Figaro Engineering Inc. is pleased to announce its latest offering—the highly accurate, low power NDIR CO2
The CDM7162 CO2 compact NDIR CO2
sensor module CDM7162. sensor module uses a
sensor, featuring excellent
performance characteristics, including high accuracy and low power consumption. Two detector elements inside the module make absolute measurement possible.
Every sensor module is individually calibrated and is provided with both a UART and I2C digital interface. The CDM7162 sensor module is designed for simple integration into a user’s products. It can be used in a wide range of applications such as ventilation controls for the improvement of energy savings and to assure a good indoor climate.

• IRNET-Pro, with over 10 years of fi eld application history is NET’s bestselling sensor. Widely used in industrial applications (from cold rooms to landfi ll gas detection to Oil&Gas settings), can reliably detect CO2
(R454, R452) in the lower fl ammable limit range. It features complete calibration over-40°C/+60°C temperature range and SIL2 certifi cation.
• IREF-Pro has been specifi cally developed for the most accurate detection of low ppm concentrations of HFC and HFO gases. It features a powerful black body light source enabling ppm detection of a comprehensive number of gases. It comes fully calibrated for the target gas and is SIL2 certifi ed.
• IREF-Lite offers a lower cost alternative to the ‘Pro’ version, for commercial and light-industrial applications: it is available for A2L refrigerants (R32, R1234yf, R1234ze) in the fl ammable range and for gases used in VRF applications (R410a, R134a) up to 1%vol.
• The Remora module is the newest addition to our range. This very cost effective device has the same features and gas list as the IREF-Lite but it is designed to be integrated directly on chillers and other refrigeration equipment instead of a gas detector. Every aspect of the hardware can be fully tailored on the customer’s criteria and application needs.

With the AsH3/C-1 and the AsH3/M-1 MEMBRAPOR presents two extremely highly sensitive sensors, which allow the highly toxic gas arsine to be measured in the ppb range.
Despite its past as a component in chemical weapons, Arsine is now a common technical product in the semiconductor industry. Arsine is used as a doping gas on a large scale and in signifi cant quantities in the context of thermal doping of silicon in the diffusion process and in ion implantation. To ensure safety, all processes need to be controlled and monitored with electrochemical Arsine sensors.
