Envirocare is a UKAS and MCERTS accredited stack emissions testing business and occupational hygiene consultancy. Services include assistance with the calibration and validation of continuous monitoring equipment, the achievement of permit requirements and help to ensure a safe workplace that protects the health of the workforce.
The company’s emissions services include MCERTS Stack Emissions Testing to demonstrate compliance with regulated emission limits, odour and bioaerosol monitoring, Greenhouse Gas emissions testing, and the Envirocare environmental data acquisition system (eDAS).

From 1st January 2025, all sites specifi ed to be low risk under the Medium Combustion Plant Directive will require their emissions monitoring to be carried out using equipment that is MCERTs accredited. Monitoring can either be carried out once every three years using a fully MCERTs accredited test house, or results can be made up during the routine 6 monthly service visits carried out by the service contractors.
Eurotron Instruments UK (EiUK) have the perfect solution for all plants <20Mw. The RASI800 is fully compliant with the new requirements of the MCP Directive for all plants <20Mw, it is fully portable with inbuilt rechargeable battery (run time approx. 4 hours) meaning that it is ideal for single or multiple sampling points, this can save time on site. It requires minimal servicing and consumable parts meaning it is a very cost-effective solution.
For any other monitoring needs on CHP plants such as routine servicing or tuning of engines (not for environmental permit reporting), the RASI700 Series is perfect. All analysers in the 700 Series are handheld battery-operated analysers, again with minimal servicing requirements.
All servicing and repairs are carried out at Eurotron’s facility in Daventry, analysers are never sent away for repair, minimising downtime and saving money.
