LTB Lasertechnik Berlin is an innovative developer and manufacturer of short-pulse UV lasers (for MALDI, FRET, TRF) and tunable dye laser systems, highest-resolution spectrometers and monochromators from the VUV to the NIR range and laser-based measuring technique for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis, process and quality control (LIBS, LIF, Raman).
Development is focused on industrial process control, material analysis and sorting based on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) in mining and exploration, metallurgy, gemology and scrap recycling. Other R&D directions are combination of LIBS and Raman and the further development of nitrogen lasers.
