boundaries for sample limited bio-analysis have been pushed signifi cantly by PharmaFluidics’ micro- Chip chromatography device. It has been demonstrated that its µPAC™ HPLC column in combination with high accuracy mass spectrometers is a very promising tool for limited sample proteomics.
µPACTM is the fi rst micro-Chip chromatography device that is manufactured using lithographic micromachining techniques. The lay-out of the stationary phase support structure is carefully designed. The perfectly ordered backbone of the separation bed is formed by etching interstitial volumes out of a silicon wafer.
