Air IT recognised for cyber security services
Air IT, a Chamber strategic partner, has been recognised by the industry-leading certification body for its cyber security penetration testing services. After a rigorous assessment
process, the Sandiacre-based managed service provider now joins a select group of security providers that are certified by CREST – an independent certification body that represents and supports the technical information security industry across the globe. Ian Glover, president of CREST,
said: “Air IT is now able to give customers the added reassurance that its services meet the highest standards, by successfully going through the CREST accreditation process. It has built a team of qualified, CREST-certified penetration testers to carry out highly skilled and sensitive work.” Air IT has been delivering managed IT services since 2005 and launched its dedicated
specialist security division Air Sec in 2017.

(pictured), the Air Sec team help protect SMEs from cyber-crime with a range of security services. These include penetration testing, user awareness training, next- generation threat detection and incident response, via its in-house Security Operations Centre (SOC).

IT firm backs sports stars of the future
Derbyshire-based Wytech has become the latest sponsor of the Derbyshire Institute of Sport (DIS). The sponsorship will now enable
the IT and telecoms company to access the DIS team of experts for online exercise, nutrition, lifestyle and performance psychology support. Wytech managing director Mark
Ward said: “We are looking forward to working with DIS to support our team with their own health, wellbeing and development.” DIS provides bespoke support
services for individual athletes and teams – across 40 sports – to enable them to achieve success. By sponsoring DIS, Wytech will
enable the organisation to continue delivering its sports science and lifestyle support services to young athletes. DIS managing director Chloe
Maudsley said: “Wytech’s support will enable us to continue developing, inspiring and supporting the next generation of athletes.”
