China’s Jiangsu Bohui Paper hits refining capacity record

CTMP rebuild for SCA Ortviken mill in Sweden


The existing integrated thermomechanical pulp (TMP) production line at SCA’s Ortviken mill in Sweden is being converted by Valmet into a chemi- thermomechanical pulp (CTMP) line, with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year. The delivery and installation of the equipment – along with a new flash drying and baling line – will take place during 2022 and the start-up is scheduled for the beginning of 2023.
