Corfe Mullen Youth Club Following the latest Government
announcements, the chair of Trustees and myself made the diffi cult decision to close the Youth Club until further notice. This is to avoid unnecessary contact and thus reduce the chance of spreading the virus. Any member of the Youth Club who would still like help or advice can call on 07724 585984 or email:
nigel.cmyc@
gmail.com.
We have held a successful training weekend at Carey Camp with our Silver group of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants. They have undertaken their training and have planned their practice expedition in the New Forest. I am still supporting local schools in their delivery of the Award. We offer Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, with experienced, qualifi ed staff and competitive rates.
Did you know that the Youth Club is run as a Charitable Trust? We are currently looking for a new Trustee. It is a voluntary role suited to a community-minded person, being involved behind the scenes with ongoing decision making and planning for the future. For more information contact the Chair of Trustees Susan Jefferies email:
susan@jsjj.me.uk.
Our programme is published and is available on Corfe Mullen Parish Council’s website: www.
corfemullen-pc.gov.uk where there is a link to the Community Youth Club pages. We also publish monthly updates on the Corfe Mullen Community Facebook page. Parents/Guardians of Year 7 and above, up to Year 13 students, are encouraged to email or call in for membership enrolment forms.
